The U.S.S. HUNLEY was the lead ship of the HUNLEY - class of submarine tenders. These ships were the Navy's first submarine tenders designed and built to service FBM submarines. Decommissioned on September 30, 1994, the HUNLEY was stricken from the Navy list on May 3, 1995, and is now laid up on the James River as part of theReserve Fleet at Fort Eustis, VA. |
